Job Description

The Field Chainman Cum Trackman will assist in railway field surveys, track inspection, measurement activities, and other field-related work as per project requirements. The candidate should be physically fit and capable of working outdoors at railway project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors and engineers in field surveys and measurement activities.
• 2. Handle measuring tapes, chains, rods, and other surveying equipment.
• 3. Assist in railway track inspection and field measurement work.
• 4. Support railway project teams in track alignment and site-related activities.
• 5. Help collect and record field measurements and survey data.
• 6. Assist in maintaining railway track areas and ensuring site safety.
• 7. Follow instructions provided by supervisors and engineers.
• 8. Perform other field-related duties as assigned by the project authorities.
