Responsible for providing technical support, managing computer hardware and network systems, maintaining technical data, and ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure at NIT Jamshedpur.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update technical data and IT records.
• * Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other hardware.
• * Troubleshoot hardware and software-related issues.
• * Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic network connectivity.
• * Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity problems.
• * Perform system maintenance, updates, and basic security checks.
• * Maintain inventory and records of IT equipment.
• * Provide technical support to staff and users.
• * Coordinate with the technical/IT team for major issues.
• * Ensure proper backup and security of important technical data.
